  • Android box minimum upgrade

Just want to share made will help someone get a setup goin faster....
I recently updgraded my old android box to

    (H96 pro plus- octa core S912 ,
32gb hdd , 3gb ram, Android os , iptv extreme app, kens Epg aswell $98.00 shipped . ) it has wifi but i choose to plug Ethernet plug direct for better connecting. To be honest the only time it dont work is if the service is down or freezing.
as for the box that thing is maad fast goin through the menu, channels ,selecting channels, smooth video . it even comes with old ver of kodi i think 17.2 installed ,i uninstalled as i dont use it, but i did test it and runs kodi smooth aswell. box only get warm normal running temp.

Box i upgraded from was :
(mxq pro s905 quad core, 1gb ram , 8gb hdd $40.0) 2 words " it sucks" click a button on remote and 2mins later it move 5 spots.
Video would freeze a lot sometimes to the point that i taught the service was down. Then a restart would make it work again sometimes restart and it freeze again. Also would get hot???? running i had is on an externel fan.

Dont have to go with same brand box but at minimum S912 , 3gb ram ,32 hdd Plenty to run stuff fast.
    hope it helps.

I share your positive experience as to one of my two STB (H96 pro plus & DL T2). I wish I could setup the H96 to view NFPS channels; as you shared the H96 box is fast and snappy!

So an update on the h96 pro + i do NOT recommend this android box guys . it is a really fast box but seem like it has some serious issues hardware wise. Box work great for 4 weeks on thursday watching a movie and halfway through tv screen went all pixeled out and freeze. Blue light on the front went out and red light came on inside the spdif port and stayed on. Try to reset box nothing completely dead nothing works email seller and they issue a refund. Check around online seem like is a common problem. The mxq 1gb i had still works had it for over a yr is just too slow.
so grab myself a Buzz xpl3000 figured i would try out a iptv box since i just for live tv so far is very quick and was super easy to setup. Epg work great if this box dont die its definely the best ave come across. Will update in a few weeks.

You should not have a problem setting up the H96 with kodi, or the stb emulator. Or perfect player or any other application that utilizes a m3u playlist.
