Having pretty decent luck with PotPlayer. Have been using VLC, Kodi and Best Player, but this one seems to record and have recording statistics which I like. Picture looks good. No guide, but I usually don't really need one and can work off of playlist. Watch a lot of baseball, basketball and sports, so usually have an idea where they are. The one thing most of these applications won't do is record. Timer recording is almost nil. This one does record, but jury's still out if it's a dependable recording application. Let me know any pro's, con's, comments etc.. Thanks

Pot Player..anyone tried this one?

I looked at it. Looks like a TiviMate clone. Isn't it an apk program that requires an emulator in order to run in windows? Pot Player is free. I'm not sure how IPTV records through an emulator. I'm recording a game on MLB, (Braves/Mets) and it hasn't hiccuped so far. You have to set the file splitter to like 500 minutes. Don't know why they even have that feature, but the default for it is like 30 minutes. It's nearly 2 hours into the recording at 2.13GB.
Nobody talks about recording much, but finding a program with even decent recording capabilities is rare. Give it a try..it's not going to be a "glitzy" as TiviMate and others, but if it records programs in their entirety that's a big reason to have it.
