iv got the buzz and mag and two donations one for each and when I record on buzz and switch tv input to the mag the buzz quits showing the pitcher and sound.while I’m watching mag and change inputs it still shows it’s recording like everything is fine but when I go back to watch it, it just blank screen..if I record on the buzz and watch it all the way threw it records it all. How can I fix this? Thanks

you lose video and audio because you have switched output Your tv cant output two streams

U miss understand what I’m saying.. I’m not trying to watch 2 things at once.. the output of the buzz has nothing to do with what is being recorded on the buzz hard drive.. I no on other std there’s something I can turn off for it to keep streaming..it’s a streaming thing to save on how much ur using on ur internet but I have unlimited so I don’t care how much I use..I can watch tv on my buzz and put my mag on another tv and it works fine while there both on at the same time so I no my internet can handle it..

for of all, always open up your own thread.

second, for recording tv does not need to be on but box has to be on. (buzz team working on new feature where you can leave box off and it will wake up for recording )

third, for recording while watching live tv press red button located all the way down on your remote control. new small window will popup. now setup your time duration you want to record and hit save. you will see on top right corner REC in red indicating its recording. dont change channel other wise your recording will stop. if you want to manually stop then press red button again and it will give you option to stop recording.

now to play recording press pvr button on your remote control or press menu on your remote control and select pvr then pvr recordings and your recordings should be here.
highlight any of the recording you want to play and hit ok button
