I have just purchased a subscription to BUZZTV and am using the MAC254 to access the service - HOWEVER - I am having a problem with the USERNAME AND PASSWORD - I cannot locate where or how to find the location. I have been able to enter the IPTV PORTAL information - and it is there and viewable. So my question is - WHERE DO I ENTER THE PASSWORD? Any and all help would be greatfully appreciated.

There is no need to enter the username/password anymore.All you have to do is attach the new mac to your account and use the correct Url in the box that matches your account. -

I have entered the necessary information into the MAG254 - at the second entry indicated. But how does that get my BUZZTV box to work - would I not have to enter details into the BUZZTV box as well - and if so - where at? Would it be at #2 as in the MAG254 box? or what? Sorry for the problems, I guess at my age everything seems to be a problem - (I am in my 80s).Comment

Now I have another possible problem - the MAC ADDRESS that I entered into the MAG254 has been changed. I entered XXXXXXX but this has been changed to 00:1A:79XXXXXXX The first three sets of figures have been altered - what effect does this have?Comment

A easier way way for you to do this. Is when you set up the buzz box and put the server URL in.You can hit the blue button on the remote and change the mac in the buzz to match the Mag and all you need to do is do a iptv rest and the box should work.Originally posted by fortworth76135 View Post

The BUZZTV box still does not connect. The *******people confirmed that my payment was received and they gave me the port url - http://xxxx-xxxx.com:xxxx. And to add - "Server 2" to line 1, and the url to the second line in the BUZZTV. Then click "live tv". Before doing this I had altered the mac address of the BUZZTV to that of the MAG254, so that it reads - "00:1a:79:xx:xx:xx". The BUZZTV box will not connect. I have changed nothing in the MAG254, although now the main connection page does not show, and I have to go to the settings and click on the -"p2.iptvprviateserver.tv " - to get it to work. When I click on the - "p5.iptvprivateserver.tv" - the Buzztv box does not work.
Question - PNT Server, should this be - "pool.ntp.org"?
In portal 2, I have in Line 1, BUZZTV, and in Line 2, I have "p5.iptvprivateserver.tv" - is this correct?
Question - "USE DHCP PORTAL - should this be "ON" or "OFF"?

A PM is a Personal Message. At the top of your screen look for Messages and click on that. From there you can send a message.Comment

Check your pm's you are using the wrong mac address. The mac needs to be 00:1A:79...... Use that mac.Comment

I have used the mac address that is on the MAG254 for the Buzztv, changing the first three to - 00:1A:79 - it did not work. Question - is the mac address case sensitive?Comment
