Just wanted to make anyone thinking of purchasing a Buzz Box aware that the product you are about to buy may not have a long life and will not be supported by the company if it dies.
I purchased an XPL 3000 (8/2019) and didn't use it when purchsed. I activated it when I renewed my subscription and added another donation number the end of March 2020. The box was working fine and i was very happy with the quality up until this week. I turned the box on and have no output, lights on the front but no picture. After several e-mails requesting how to reset the box or any other possible resolutions I was told that the box must have shorted out and killed the HDMI output. And since the box was SO OLD, there was nothing that could be done. I'll insert this comment -- And Have A Happy F___king Day !!!!! that's how I feel. Didn't even get kissed. I know many people are very happy with these boxes and based on their comments that's why I bought mine. I only felt it fair that anyone thinking of buying one of these boxes in the future be aware that this is possible.
