how watch tv channels using kodi 16 .1

I am using a KM8P box with kodi 16.1 and stalker client I get to where i have downloaded the channels and have TV icon on the menu bar ,when i click on a channel it show working spinning then goes to kodi stopped
I'm I missing something to make the channels play
