    WHEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS TOOL?

    1. Unable to Connect to the Server

    When you cannot connect to the server the first thing you should do is ping the server and see if that can be accomplished. If you can ping the server the problem is other than your internet connection.

    If you cannot successfully ping the server you should do a tracert of the server which will let you know where the failure is occuring. If it happens in the first couple of hops it could mean that your ISP is blocking you from connecting to the server. If the failure occurs in any of the mid hops it usually indicates a temporary problem that is due to a failure of one of enroute servers to pass your traffic off as it should. If you are unable to connect to the server at the last hop it indicates that the server is locking you out and you will need to find out why. The first thing you should do if the iptv server is blocking you is an IPTV reset which in mosts cases repairs the problem.

    2. Freezing or Buffering Issues

    If you are experiencing freezing or buffering issues a tracert can sometimes indicate that the problem is with the internet itself. A tracert shows all of the hops your computer takes enroute to the server and it shows the time in ms at each hop. If you see excessive times between some of the hops or that they are timing out this can cause problems as your traffic is being delayed and the results can be freezing or buffering problems.

    HOW to DOWNLOAD and USE

    Simply download the zip file to the location of your choice and unzip it.

    NOTE: This program is a batch file or .bat file. It is an executable file and you may get a message that your firewall or anti-virus program is blocking you from downloading it. If it asks you if you want to continue you can safely say Yes. If it does not give you the option then you will need to copy the link below to download the file and put it in as an EXCEPTION to your firewall / anti-virus settings. This script has been available in various forms for years on the support sites and it contains no malware of any kind.

    Once unzipped you can just double click on the file to open it or TO MAKE USING THE PROGRAM QUICK AND EASY - right click on the unzipped file "IPTV_PING-TRACERT_REV_1-25-18.BAT" and click on "create shortcut". Now just drag the shortcut to your quick launch bar and you can now use the program with just one click of your mouse.

        These tracerts are a result of using the script which is available as a download immediately above this reply. These are a c/p of the text file it will write to your hard drive each time you use it;

        I have 5 hops to the server, you may have more depending on your location.

            If it's Mabell thats the problem call them and ask them to check the line.Or look for another provider.Maybe a smaller company that don't throttle their connections and give you a true speed.
