  • Traveling with Mag 254

Hello all its been awhile hope everyone enjoys the holidays. Now lets get to it, I will be traveling and I need information on how to setup the mag 254.
I will be in a location that will have wifi access only.
Will the wireless adapter Ralink rt 5370 work with the Mag 254?. I wont have enough time to order the Ralink rt5730. Besides the only one that I saw on ebay comes from England. I also need instruction on how to connect the adapter and the mag or am I connecting the adapter to the tv. Please excuse my ignorance but when i am at home everything is wired
Again thanks for any help given
    Reno

First thanks for the quick response. But none of that explained what I connect anything to. Where am I plugging the adapter in? Where am I plugging the Mag in? Do I need any cables connected between the Mag and I guess a computer?
      Thanks

If you don't understand that, then you will be stumped when I tell you to Disable the ISP lock, the Country lock, and do an IPTV Reset.
Then do not turn on your stb until you get to the remote location.
plug in the mag and hook up to the TV's HDMI input.
Set your Date & Time (Timezone)
Then install the wifi adapter in the USB slot and configure the Wifi settings
Then you have to re-localize your STB and re-load portal.
        ....etc!
My suggestion, ... get an android STB and use a playlist.
