Just received a new T6 and its not updating with any of the firmwares.

Just received the T6 and its not updating with any of the current firmware. I tried 343 and 363 with just error messages. It has Kodi 14, android 4.2.2 and the current build is 299. Is it not supposed to be Build 18 or 20??

I just tried the Build 20 factory file and that was accepted. Now to try the 343 and 363.

I think you just got a clone T6 if it wont take the original files try the clone forum

So far, from what I have been able to read about these machines, I believe the clones get bricked if you install the genuine firmware on them. This one did not get bricked. I believe all it needed was one of the factory files ..in this case build 20 and after that all the other right up to 363 update all worked fine.
