  • Buzz 4900 Problem

Hi. Just wondering if anyone can help with a problem I am having with my BUZZ 4900. Almost every time I go to use it I have to pull the plug to get it to startup. Almost seems like no response from the remote, but it has new batteries and once the box starts up after the plug is pulled the remote works fine. Any suggestions on what could be the problem. Thanks

do you have CEC on your box? if yes then turn off and try again.
whats your power mode setup to? if suspend then try to keep as shutdown so you dont have to unplug.

Thanks Ryu1. CEC was on and power mode was set to suspend. I will change as you suggest and see how it goes. Thanks again

Thanks again Ryu1. Buzz now works like a charm. Thanks so much. As a note, once I made the changes the remote started acting crazy. I would make one change and 10 to 20 changes would happen. I thought I would change the batteries and now everything works great. So iI guess the buzz remote needs fresh batteries.
