Hi. I've done some research and I decided to buy this box as I wanted something that will have the best compatibility with the server. Although I like the epg and the interface,I have playback issues, like: buffering, going into loops (like repeating the last 10 seconds),sometimes skipping. This doesn't happen on all channels, however I'd say I deal with this 70% of the time. The box says my internet speed is close to 80Mbs. Kodi on the box works perfectly. My portal was p3 then I changed it to p2 (issues remained) and I also use Mac authentication. Does anyone know some extra tricks to get this to work better?

This is not an issue with box, but more an issue with the server. It has been much better lately, but the box you have is not the problem.

Its not the box but it has not been better lately . The server is constantly freezing and looping . I hope they are working on it . But this has gone down hill drastically to what it used to be

To me it's a bit unsual to return here after more than 6-7 years and see that progress is still sluggish. I remember the days when I had a dish and one of those Pansat/Fortec receivers. The video feed was up most of the times, once in a while I had to upgrade the software via a serial cable (lol). I had the receiver connected to my computer which used SageTV. It was the closest thing to a Tivo. It would record all my favorite shows plus scan them and cut away all the commercials. Those were the days.
Not to sound like I know what I'm saying, but wouldn't be better using p2p streaming technology here? I'm thinking ace streams. Yes, it takes ~20 seconds to load a stream, but once it plays, it will be flawless. On top of that, the more people are watching, the more solid the connection would be (as we all share what we're watching). This will probably reduce the server load. I'd post a link here to such site but I won't since I don't want to get banned or something.
