Anyone else having this problem? Updated my XRS4000 on June 17 and now I can't turn it off. Hit shutdown and after a couple of minutes it starts back up again. Only way to keep it shut off is to unplug the power supply which is plugged in to a internal power bar on my entertainment centre (means pulling it out from the wall to unplug). Just curious if anyone else is having this problem.

Wouldn't it be easier to unplug power at box

Unplugging at the box means the power supply is still powered. I don't make a habit of leaving power supplies or chargers plugged into wall outlets with nothing being powered.

I see, So then it don't really matter if it restarts then.If your going to unplug it. It's not going to hurt the power supply whether it's plugged into the box or not.
I'm not sure if saving a few cents a month is worth the aggravation of unplugging the power supply every time.

I'm not unplugging to save a few cents. I was always under the impression that leaving a power supply plugged in without any load on it wasn't a good thing. It shouldn't be that big of a deal to update the software to correct something this newest version has generated. Worked fine before the update. I'll keep an eye for another update.

Iv'e been doing it for years and have not had a problem. I actually make a habit of unplugging the box every morning and plug it back in at night. I would sooner have no power going to a box when it's not in use. As for the few cents it was a J/K.

I noticed with the buzz tv remote, the scrolling of guide just takes off n doesn’t stop. Some clicks jump around and doesn’t keep up with what’s been pressed
is this a remote issue ?
