  • PPV's on channel list end abruptly

This may have been covered, but cannot find info. Many times I'll be watching a PPV and it just ends. You're really into the movie and it's like "That's all Folks". Happened to me with "The Social Dilemma" last night, for example. I have found that if the movie is also in VOD, the VOD movie's usually play all the way through. This one was not however. Any ideas why this happens? Is it my dreamlink box?

    Thanks!

Something to do with the length of movie I think. Watch 30 minutes of the movie and restart the movie and fast forward 30 min out and it should play to the end.

Alternately, pausing around half way for approx 10 minutes, then continuing, will reset your connection timeout counter (Token), which appears to have an approx, 2hr. connection limit to the file server.

It looks like they fixed the movie I was wanting to watch and it played to the end, but just an FYI, I can see no way to start/stop/FF..etc PPV's. They are not like the VOD stuff..they are more like live TV.

Depends on the device and application you are using.
            Most allow pausing, ff/rwd.

Use another app, as these are not Server based.

It is a Dreamlink and uses DOL2. I've tried some of the other applications and they've got problems too. Seems fixed at the moment.
