X5 shutting down

my X5 is sometimes shutting down when tv is off ,but when i try to power back up remote will not work. must disconnect power and it will start up on its own
can anyone tell me why this is happening

It's a setting that combines TV to a device.

depends on user and their setup. I enabled it so one click, it turns on my box and tv for my parents.

Ok Thanks, CEC is not the problem then. I am having the same problem with having to pull plug on the buzz box to get it to work again. Very frustrating.

post buzztv app version you have? should be 5.0.....?
not sure this will help you but try this. from home screen go to settings, device preferences, display and sound, HDMI CEC settings, and only turn off virtual CEC switch, restart you box and then see if it works fine after that. please report back. thanks

Hi, app version is 5.0.799. I tried looking for the virtual CEC but could not find it. I am going to bed and leaving for a couple days. I will look again when i get back. Thanks I really appreciate the help.
