  • Unable to pull the stream URL on this box alone

    • URL stream will not load

      02-20-2017, 05:32 PM
I have a valid donation and when I attempt to change the channel to any channel 800,200 8 whatever I keep getting an error "Stalker client unable to get stream URL"

Is there something special I am doing wrong or is the PVR client not configured correctly?

      Kodi version 16.1
      hardware: Akaso Q box tv

That channel is free thats why you are getting that one.Now turn Kodi off on the pc log into your account and double check you are linked to the right server. Then do a iptv reset again with kodi off and give it a min or so and restart kodi.

Quit changing the mac As long as the site is excepting your mac and your using 00:1A:78 then leave it.Also don't forget if your changing your portal you have to change it in your set up.

Your first post stated you were using an Android STB, and you were getting a channel list. Your Error noted was "Unable to get Stream URL".
All of that info indicates KODI started up and loaded the channel list. That specific error is given only when a specific channel is down and the load attempt kicks out that error.
              * Note FYI - always check Ch. 240 (Al Jazeera) When there is Server maintenance or channel problems, this Channel is always up (?Dont ask me Y?).
(If you get 240 (plus a couple other news channels), but everything else gives you the "Stream URL" error, there is a server problem, not your equipment or settings.)

The next Post indicated you switched to a PC with Kodi, and rec'd. an "Authentication Error" which is an Error msg. specifically for Login Errors.
If, I assume, you are using the same donation# on both platforms, you will get that error because you did not do an IPTV Reset, which is required when switching devices or a location change. (iptv reset only 2 times in a 24hr. period).

So, I recommend you start fresh again,
-Change your MAC# by 1 digit (in your kodi settings) and save the changes.
-Go to TV settings - disable and clear data cache.
              -Shutdown KODI
-Go to Papiao and Change your MAC# associate with your donation, to the new number.
-Wait a few minutes and restart KODI.
-Go to System Settings / TV - and Enable.

              You should be good.
              /kens
              I am not a "BOT"!

                Ken,

I changed my original Mac to one digit off and disabled and cleared the cache
                -Shutdown KODI
went into papiao website and uploaded a new mac from random mac generator site I received
                -reset IPTV in Papioa site

                - Reset iptv stalker pvr 1.0.8 to defaults and redid all the information in the pvr client
It will load teh guide but all the channels report unable to pull url stream including the 240 channel which for me was BTsport2

At this stage I am lost for words and DIrections and wish someone could assist further since I don't get this on my other donation I think it could be server side related

Channel 240 for you is btsport2 because you do not have use channel order and number from back end checked which should not matter for the channels to work. You can try that and see if it makes any difference though.

system>settings>tv> ( make sure the settings level is set to expert) and check those options.

You have a problem in your set up i have done a iptv reset. Go over every one of your settings including making sure the server is set portal5iptv......
Unless you are saying only certain channels are not working then you will have to email papiao and ask them why they are not working. We here have no control over what is working and what's not.I did check a few Uk and Us channels and they loaded fine.

Certain channels aren't working but I think it could've been hardware related to Dr degree as I switched to an older Android TV box and it is now pulling in the channels and guides without issues .

                      Thanks for the help everyone.
