channels not opening

i setup kodi via couch potato on nividia shield. i get a full guide and channels. when i want to watch a channel the screen shows working, but the channel does not open. i did an iptv reset.
help

Check c-span, aljazeera, cbsnews, bloomberg.
If you get these, it is not your setup.
Disable pvr iptv simple client.
Clear data in settings/ pvr&liveTV- general tab
Shutdown, then do another IPTV Reset.
Restart Kodi and go to pvr iptv simple client settings and Enable.

I did a reset and shut down kodi and I still cannot get dyi to open ,it says working and get other channels but diy will not open can anyone tell me why?

I did what you said and all channels are there but won’t open up and tried password for and it didn’t work and I wanted to ask you about our MAC address it won’t let me put that in.

Ok Ken I’m really up creek without a paddle,I did what you said to do with potato tv and then I loaded iptvxtra and that I got all channels but nothing would open did reset and still nothing so I uninstalled it and put back on couch potato now that won’t open. I think I’m lost now please can you tell me what I did wrong.

What happens when I don’t have kodi 17 l tryed to download it on my stelle smart box and it keeps saying problem-parsing-the package so l just use 16.1 and just renewed my sub. Now both smart boxes won’t work.

Might be time to upgrade nothing lasts forever.Also might be time to invest in a box where you don't have to worry about a kodi to run iptv.

Based on the above massage your box cannot use Kodi 17.6 and if I can recall kens specifically mentioned that iptvxtra can only be used on kodi 17.6

I load potato tv .back up again and the channels all load and guide but still the channels won’t open.

Try iptv reset, or start over from the beginning.

I had the same thing, I gave up. I also bought a Dreamlink t2 and the same issue persists. I have contacted Papio but they have not done anything except reset my IPTV which I have done more then 10 times. I don't know if this will get resolved any time soon, I have put up a post in another area also hoping someone will respond. Good luck
