My Perfert Player EPG has stopped working. I'm using he generic server M3U

Any help would be appreciated

29 views and not even one response to indicate any possibilities why my EPG in Perfect Player is no longer coming up even after running the update

What source are you using? Kens was changed awhile ago.

Thanks for your response. Yes, the source being used is the source you have indicted above. I had originally used when I first installed Perfect Player onto my Fire stick. Way back I also attempted to use another source that was also available but i believe that one was outdated and didn't work. So, I am still uncertain what is causing the EPG to no longer populate even after refreshing or updating the EPG download. .

Very busy with unrelated problems.

Reading your posts, I think you may have misunderstood or misread Grim Reapers post above.
The original guide file name was "guide_kens.xml"
This was discontinued Sept 1st.

New guide file reflects new channels and channel renaming that has occurred.
New guide file URL is the same but the file name is "guide_ks.xml" (just delete "en")

*Note: There is a new Playlist Template posted in this section somewhere that has all new channels and channel name changes.
If you were using a custom M3U playlist older than 2 months, you should make a new one from the newest Template.

*** Also... make sure in the settings window for the EPG URL, that the refresh schedule for the guide is set to "Refresh at each update"

Ddsa I have had same problem.with perfect on certain devies I have found if you totally delete the epg save exit out come back in retype save it solves the issuse I'm usiiu on Android and Apple TV working great.

check to make sure...
*Note: By default PP Hides the EPG data. To see the EPG. if using a mouse, at the top of the left of screen Channel list, and on the right side of the Genre (All Channels, Entertainment etc) click the small square icon (submenu). Click EPG Show EPG.
If using a remote, press and hold OK until the submenu appears, then select Show EPG.
