Best Player for IPTV Private Server on Nvidia Shield?

Hello IPTV donators Et al.

I have owned an Nvidia Shield TV since inception of the product. I use KODI from time to time and have most recently donated to NFPS. I loaded my playlist and Ken's EPG URL into Perfect Player on the Shield and I am able to see and play streams but am looking to adjust the EPG by loading in a custom file. I'm new to all of this but usually have decent experiences following directions and watching how-to videos. As I've gotten into this subject of IPTV and now customizing the EPG, I am wondering what player is best suited for the Nvidia Shield box. Perfect Player or KODI? I see one of the Mods has a new repo..Kens

Believe me, I am not biased in my opinion here!
Perfect Player is smaller and lighter on your STB resources.
Because of this, it is faster channel switching and is equal or better Video performance, in my opinion.
You lose proper channel numbering and cannot access Video Metadata for VOD channels.

My Kodi Addons are just Setup tools and Extra feature additions for these IPTV Services.
IPTVXtra will load the proper guide, Renumber the channels, add extra group categories and give you separate access to VOD, where you can use IPTVXtra media info addon to get VOD Metadata from tmdb etc.

Kodi requires a fast and well configures Android STB.
Quad processor and GPU with 2Gb Ram Minimum, just to perform adequately.

so it does not hurt to load both!!
