  • Black screen after loading portal.

    Hello everyone!

It has been two days that cannot find the problem with my Mag254. After loading the portals it stays on black screen, doesn't show where to put user and password or the yellow loading bar.
I did everything, updating to r19, checked BIOS, still nothing, just black screen.
Did someone had the same issue and fixed?

    Thank you,
    Albert

Log into your account and do a iptv reset While you are in there make sure the portal and mac matches whats on your account. Then plug the mag back in.The server does not ask for username/password anymore.

Black screen most of the time means the portal url is incorrect in the mag.

Still the same problem. I have p1 but I changed to p5 from the login website and still black screen. Also did IPTV reset, no luck.
Forgot to mention that I bought 2 donations and one works good and the second, no. I tried in two MAG254 (of course I changed the mac), and still in both Mag's black screen.
        Any help please.

        Thank you

What you could try is change the boot mode. By pressing the menu button on the remote (looks like a bulleted list), pointing at the unit while powering up the unit, you can get to the BIOS. For the 254, you can have a NAND or NAND2 (I think). Change to the other one, reboot, enter your data as you normally would, and try that.

Thank you jpg11. I did it too many times, still nothing. Something is wrong with the portal I think.

          Thank you though.

Nothing is wrong with the portal.I tested it and it was fine. But if that's what you think the problem is you can change portals yourself. But remember to change the portal in your stb.

                  Hello again,

It didn't work with Mag254. I have no idea, why?. But I solved by using another Android TV Box, and works perfect.

Thank you again for you help.
