  • Stations freezing and not displaying listed programs.

've been experiencing 2 problems for the past 6 months and would like to know if they can be fixed?

First, all IPTV stations are stalling 2-7 seconds sometimes longer on a consistent basis. What is causing this to happen all day on a daily basis? Should I switch servers and would that help?

Second, why so many news stations (seems like every US city and town) and many stations do not display the prime time shows that are listed for that particular channel and time. i.e. Jeopardy is listed for 7:00 pm EST on channel 8100 ABC New York but news from San Francisco streams on a daily basis. Many channels are doing the same thing - not showing what is listed at the time is is supposed to show. What is happening and is there a solution for this?

Please offer some help or work around so I can enjoy TV without consistent stalling, skipping and not displaying listed programs.

Does anyone have any suggestions or work arounds?

    Thanks.

Do a DSL Speed Test with a computer, when you experience the freezing etc.
*Make sure that you are getting the required download speed (~6mb/sec)
There are Local feeds for the major networks, so users can get their local news.
All the locals will switch to the network feeds after their news, so Jeopardy on ABC NY will also be on ABC Miami, Detroit, Washington etc.
Some feeds will get other stations news feed, because Covid19 may be affecting that region.
    ...maybe, ...lol!

Some good suggestions by Shooty, but let's face it, the locals are completely out of sync. New York, Miami, and Chicago used to be accurate, but no longer.

Thank you for the suggestions. When I changed the server from P5....to P2.... many stations stopped freezing and I did find Jeopardy on the Washington station.

Another question. How would your rate internet boosters? I'm thinking about buying one for faster access/speed in other rooms of my house. Which booster do you recommend, if any?

If using it for iptv, you are better off with using a wired connection. You could use a wifi extender with a lan connection. Then you can have the best of both worlds.

Maybe something like this one will do. NETGEAR WiFi Range Extender EX2700 - Coverage up to 600 sq.ft. and 10 devices with N300 Wireless Signal Booster & Repeater (up to 300Mbps speed), and Compact Wall Plug Design
