Yes. Just go on your donation checker and change the MAC and do an IPTV reset and you're set to go on your new device.

I pulled out an old mag 254 I have not used in around 3 years.
I tried to update the mac address as described and it says the mac address is already in use.
I am not sure what is wrong?

Got it working I used update this donation not reset seemed to work?

So you're good? Remember you cannot have 2 devices with 1 donation at the same time. You can power off the dead box.

Yes I understand that, I have never tried and will never try been doing this for quite a few years now gotta keep the family and friends happy.
I found a Dreamlink T1 I put away a couple years ago that needed software updates and seems to be working now, better than the mag.
