MAG254 shows no internet hard wired cat 5

What must I do to get new connection to my internet. Tried reboot, tried unplugging box. Still does not show internet connection. Any suggestions.

Was you MAG 254 working before?

Is the green and amber LEDs lights at the back of your MAG254? If not, they should be lit and the amber I think should be blinking

Try to turn off your MAG254, Router and Modem for few minutes then turn them back in reverse order

Should I reboot my internet and hubs to get a signal. Would this help?

You don't say if your hard wired to your mag or wireless. You need to tell us a little more.

I missed that NBS. If your still down have you tried connecting anything else to that cat 5 cable such as a laptop or another box to see if your internet is going thru the cat 5? You need to figure out if it's the box or your internet.

It's possible the LAN NIC inside the MAG could have failed. You can try a wireless dongle in the USB and see if it'll connect. Or try another ethernet cable.

If it's a new connection, you might have to go to settings and connect via wired. There are 2 options in the settings, Wired and Wireless connections.
