Loading bar freezes halfway

The initial portal load bar freezes halfway through the process.

The STB is mag322. I’ve waited two hours and bar is about half loaded. Should I reset? Does this do harm during the loading?

I wouldn't wait any longer, restart it.

yea I would not be waiting that long either, restart it.
It is not installing anything, its just trying to load the server info,so no damage will result in stopping and restarting.
I do it often enough with no ill effects.

If the loading bar freezes up, it's usually poor internet connection and/or corrupted IP address. Try rebooting your router and mag at the same time. That should resolve it.
