Mag256 boxes just lock up !!!! Constant rebooting.

Hi guys, i have two Mag256 boxes and all of a suden they just started locking up and need to be constantly rebooted.
Anyone have this issue and does any know where i can get a older firmware to downgrade.

hey thanks, i believe this is just a MAG256 problem that freezes up once and a while, i know how to change portals all good with that, my issue now is that both my MAG256 boxes only have black screen and very little changes work some in the channel range of 2500 work, but the main channels do not work on all panels with both boxes, only thing that really works are the PPV channels, that's it. nobody has been able to figure this out for me.

Hey i am having the same problem ..what portal shou;ld i change it to ???

try to change to p4 or p7 and see if that works. if not pm me your Mac, order id, email used to and I will change portal for you.

yes, changing of the Server port did the trick.
No more locking up.

ok, thanks for your reply, i do have BuzzTV XRS 4500 box, i just wanted to see if anyone knew what the issue is.

try to change portal and see if that helps. if not then I would get a new boxes like buzz 4000 series, dreamlink t3 or formular z8 ....etc.
