Update Mag254 for PPVs?

I have been running an old mag 254 on R10 for years and it works great but the PPVs have never worked. Thinking updating to R14 might do the trick - anyone here running R14 and getting PPVs?

The last thing i would do would be to update to the latest file.I would leave the box as is if it's working.Or the best option is to buy a box with better support.

I’m on R 14 and ppl working ok just be careful when updating not to get the latest I’ll ruin your box
