i have mag 254 hard wired eithernet 100 mbps port 5, i have had real heavy freezing last few weeks ,un watchable really and at times it goes completly blank for awhile. i have tryed all the normal things to try and without any luck. before all this started it worked pretty well ,just wonder why that would change all of a sudden,and some channels are worse than others at times. any help or sugestions would be appreciated.

Do a DSL Speed Test on your Internet connection around the same time you are experiencing the problem.
Check the forum for similar problems from users.
You could try another Server Portal. (Connection problems are usually isolated to 1 server)

i did the speed test and iam a bit surprized, with speak easy download was,19.4 mbps and upload was 19.9. then tryed speed of me download was 10.5 and upload was 5.93 latency 16 ms. not what i expected it to be ,because iam paying top dollar for their high end plan and its not even close to what it should be. also these numbers will just barely work for this service, am i correct on that?Comment
