just did the software update to R17 (Feb. 20th-release)
and so far so good. Faster channel changing I think.

Try guys.. that might help you on your channels freezing issues

I upgraded to R17 and now youtube is missing from the innerportal. What's up with that?

Mine Ok now..Not locking up like yesterday..

Locked up again,, on channels that are not up and running Example 181 nothing come up and locked up..had to reboot.

hi Dodgeit how to knock out ...automatic update ...seems to update latest r17 which is NOT working for me ,,,,sticking on HD CHANNELS and shutting down the box.....or if there is any MOD for the r17

I may agree with you this MAG254 218 r17 is buggy I think... Today MAG254 got stuck 2-times while flipping channels particularly channel on NFPS IPTV channel 442. I have to pull the power out to the MAG to go back in. I wonder if other peeps with MAGs are experiencing the same

Very buggy. Runs for a few hours then freezes and requires a power off reset to restore recommend that any one that hasn't upgraded yet doesn't. This version should have never been released!
