  • are you smarter than me

i have a t1 and t2. i was away for 2 months and came back to freezing on nfps on both boxes. movies other than nfps stream naturally. i tried rebooting, factory reset, software reset, changing portals several times, on both boxes. all to no avail. so now i think the problem is common somewhere. i tried with wifi and hard wire, freezing still there.
i now tried a different modem and different router, no difference, still freezing. i called my isp provider and had them send me a new signal. i still get freezing on all channels except the free ones (207). my sub expires in a few weeks, but i don't know if the problem is my nfps signal or something else. my download is 50mbps, i actually get 47 mbps. any suggestions would be helpful.

I don't really know what to suggest aside from restarting your network. If this was a server problem you would see many complaints here.I have also been watching and have not seen the problem you are describing. What kind of router are you using and is it a provider one?

Are you using a custom DNS on your router or the one provided by your ISP?
Sometimes using a custom DNS can help.

Bypass the router and run a line directly to the modem, check/change ethernet cables. You can also do as suggested in post 3 and use a custom DNS server in your router. (googles dns is one you can use)

Put the dns in your router like google dns you can try. You can clearly see there are no major problems with the server. It has something to do with your connection. You pm'ed me about using some kind of hot spot and i have no idea what you are talking about.

Many ISP's have been throttling down " .ts " streams, which is the protocol used for LiveTV channels from most IPTV Providers.
External "remote" channels use a different protocol, and VOD's also use a different protocol.
                  Google it!
