Hoping to get help from a kind soul that has a Dreamlink T2 (or similar) device and is able to record anything being played on youtube using the pre-installed youtube app.
I am brand new to IPTV. Bought the T2 as I read that you can use its PVR features as long as you have a hard drive connected to it or a misroSD card installed.
Well, it turns out it does not record video but creates a low quality screenshot every time you press the record button on the remote.
Contacted the seller to see if he could help but was told it cannot record from youtube at all, but only from the DOL2 app.
I don't know how knowledgeable this person is and wanted to hear it from the Pros here.
I was planning to use this device only for recording from you tube at the highest resolution the video clip supports without setting up anything else.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this limitation?
Android sees both the SSD drive and the SanDisk Extreme Pro microSD card I installed but only records lame screenshots of the video I am trying to record.
