t3 keeps going back to the epg

I switched from a mag 250 to a t3 a few months ago. A couple of things came up .I can be watching and it will go to the epg all by itself and i have to hit the back button or Ok to restore also on a lot of channels keeps repeating sections of the show and even freezing!
Any thoughts?

Nope all updates are up to date --It isnt regular either just whenever it wants to . Also does this on other streaming services

probably factory reset may help. make sure to right down or save any important info.

Ton of problems with the Service lately.

Just figured it out i have an Arris box hooked up as well It would appear that it is the problem. When i shut it off all is working as it should!
