  • Help - frustrated IPTV

I recently bought a Formuler Z8 because my T1 I thought was maybe processing too slow and causing DOL 2.0 to pause play pause play on IPTV but now I have the Z8 plugged in and IPTV is doing the same... it's very frustrating as I am getting no answers on suggestions. VOD works fine and other videos, it's just IPTV channels... can anyone help me with this?

look into your router to disable IPV6 . I hope it gets supposed one day- because all the Internet providers are enabling it on their router .

Do you have enough Bandwidth with your internet service contract?
Many packages offer, for example, up to 25 Mb/sec download, but that is a maximum ...possibility.
During Peak, Primetime you may only get 3 Mb.
Do a DSL Speed test on a computer during time you have problems.
btw, ...Videos and VOD use a different protocol to send you the data, so it is not affected by lower bandwidths normally.

that was exactly what was going on... I didn't know (realize) that IPTV used more. I was actually pulling less than 25 MBPS and not consistent. Provider sent a new modem and all is well now.... Thank you!
