  • Dreamlink T2 - Fresh Install Not Working

    I tried to setup a brand new Dreamlink T2 box and I get an error message "Your account is blocked or expired. Contact your service provider.". The donation was created, mac address is correct and portal set correctly. What should I do?

    In order to get it to work I had to assign the box's ID to the donation (not the box's MAC). Anyone know why this worked?

      They had me change the country code.

        set country lock to all and hit reset on provider site and check for the result.

          Ryu1 I tried that and it didn't work. Setting the box's ID from the label (not the MAC address) worked.

              I see people with this MAC issue often.
              The thing is that the service wants the MAC of the IPTV application that the device is using to connect to the service and not the actual device's MAC
              The IPTV application would be the DOL application and it's MAC will always starts with 00:1a:79
              If you noticed that the device's MAC and the IPTV (DOL) MAC have the same last 6 digits, but the first 6 are different. The first six is what tells the server to recognize the MAC. It will not recognize the device's MAC since it does not begin with 00:1a:79 ... nor does the device itself connect to the service, the DOL does.

              The dreamlink T3 models have taken the IPTV MAC ID and placed it in the server setup menu itself and no longer shows with the device's MAC as it did at one time.
