Riverrd, is your box a dreamlink T1 Plus and did you have the same problem with the two hard green lights in front?

Have you tried disconnecting everything even the hdmi and letting boot up?Then just connecting Hdmi and trying again.

Yes, all that was done. Sometimes just to make checks I would take the box and the AC adapter and plug it into any outlet in the house, and the same two hard green lights still show up.
Of course, one hard green light tells you the box is receiving power from the adapter, but the other hard green light?

            Re: Dreamlink T1 Plus malfunctioning

Yes, it was bought from the same seller as promoted by this website.

The reset file on this website did not work, and a different reset file on another website also did not work. All other attempts did not work, so I take it that there is no known solution to the two steady green lights at the front of the box. .Of course, one hard green light tells you the box is receiving power from the adapter, but the other hard green light?

I finally made contact with the seller. He has finally responded to my many emails and will be returning the box very soon, as it is still under warranty.

On another note, the Plus in this box means too many things, too many programs to contend with, and maybe too little space and memory. And if this is so, then it can happen again, and again. I hope the T2 is not with a similar problem.

I will let you all know what the seller did, whether repair and how, or replace completely.

If you wish you can PM me with details, but as many users seem to have this problem, let's know how you solve your "steady green lights" issue

So the Dreamlink T1 Plus was returned to the seller in Canada as it is still under warranty.

There is NO fix for the two hard green lights that appeared on the front of the box despite what is posted on this website and on other websites. It was replaced by the Dreamlink T2 at a small additional cost. I don't believe that Dreamlink still makes the T1 Plus, and that has been discontinued for good.

As I understand it, there were many users of the Dreamlink T1 Plus with this very same problem, and no solution. The box is dead and no reset file will fix it.

I have learnt a couple of lessons from this transaction involving the Dreamlink T1 Plus, and most of them came from "Clerview" in the posts above.

My Dreamlink T1 Plus also had the dreaded 2 green lights after the last update. Contacting Dreamlink through Paypal did get a immediate response asking to send the unit to Canada for replacement. But getting the replacement T2 took almost a month and invoice for $18 shipping.
