  • Buzz Classic lockups

    Classic, firmware up to date, hard wired, 1G internet, I use XC API to connect. portal P1

    General questions to resolve problems, I hope.

    When I do have lockups, I have tried different portals, but will not connect to any other portals. Should I have access to other portals ?
    On the Papiao website, what is the IPTV RESET used for ? When to use it ?

    Sometimes when I have lock ups, I have to pull the power from the box and reboot the router. Sometimes it works, sometimes have to do this several times
    to get the box back up.

    I have tried the backup player, works sometimes, sometimes not.

    Since having connection and lock up problems, I tried IPTV Smarters PRO app on another tv. Works flawlessly.
    Tried to install IPTV Smarters PRO on the Classic, getting a parser error. I have enabled Developer, etc. Still getting error.

    Is there an option other than IPTV Smarters PRO to install ? I'd rather get the Classic working better because I like the layout, but gotta do what you gotta do.

    If you change portal you have to do a reset.

      Thanks for the reply.

      Does anyone else have the same or similar problems with lockups on a Classic ? The lockups are a friggin pain.

      Or ideas for a different player for the Classic ?

          Still having problems. Could someone explain the IPTV reset process and how to change servers ? I have tried the button, all it says is it has been reset.
          Now I have the menus on the box but no video

              It is a very simple form, you enter your email address and donation number (username) and then you will see the following screen, there you can use the change portal button to move your account to a different server:

                Sorry for the delay in responding. See if this makes any sense... I have installed IPTVSMARTERS PRO on the Buzz Classic, and 2 other tv's. I use my one donation, alternating between the tv's and Buzz. I'm not having the lockup problems using Smarters. Also, I can access almost all channels via Smarters, but not on the Buzz.

                Does the Buzz need a VPN ? Is a VPN allowed ? I have not tried changing portals yet but will shortly. BTW, thanks for the info on changing portals, BIG help.

                  We recommend using 1 donation per device to prevent this problem.

                  Some boxes / apps keep running in the background even when you turn off the TV, in that situation you have 2 o more devices fighting to have access to the service and it will cause freezing, looping and in some cases the donation will get locked to just one of them.

                  If you can't or don't want to buy one donation per device then try this:

                  - Use the same application in all your devices
                  - When you are done with one device kill the application in that device.
                  - Avoid recording a different channel when you are watching TV. A recording session takes 1 connection, 1 donation = 1 connection = 1 device.
