What is the best stb emulator recommended for the Buzz xrs4500?

why use third party emulator in buzz? buzz comes with its own buzz tv app designed very well. if you are going to use third party emulator then it will defeat the purpose and makes no sense.

For the most part the Buzz app is good. But the icon view of the VOD really sucks in my opinion.

If I bought a box and there was a feature i didnt like or wanted to be added i would ask the powers to be if it could be added

The buzz has been out for a couple of years and yours is the first complaint I have seen about icon view

I had an issue with missing channels.
I found the solution to my issue.

Coming from a Mag 254 to the Buzz box has been interesting.
I like the speed of the Buzz.
However I do not like the user interfaces for the EPG and the VOD.
The way the Mag deals with both of these features is much better in my view.
Having to scroll through all of the icons in the VOD of the Buzz box is a pain.
The Mag gave me the opportunity to scroll through the VOD channels a page at a time for a title that would be of interest.
I would see 15 or 20 titles per page in list format.

im not sure but I think when you go to vod you should see options saying view thumbnails? click on it and see what happens

what you can do is limit the amount of vods by hiding categories

When in VOD

Press the Red button to open Categories List
Press the Red button again to organize categories



On here, you will see a list of all categories with an ON/OFF switch

If you turn it Off, then the categories will be hidden.

After you're finished
Press back



You will need to reload the VOD to take full affect
So just go back to Live, and then re open VOD
The categories will now be hidden.
