  • Hello

New here. Wanted to say hello. I've gotten both potato and perfect player to work. Things have been good. Could someone point me in the right direction for the support forum please? I'm staring at the list of forum sub topics and it's just not clicking.

I've got the windows version of perfect player. Using the search on the top right I'm drawn back to the original perfect player post I used for setup.

      (replace xx with tt)

I'm not sure what the problem your having is. But fps is normally low to save on bandwidth. The higher the fps the more bandwidth you use.

I've tried perfect player on 3 laptops. 2 hp's and an asus rog. all three show fps loss from the expected media info: of 25... the actual ends up being 10-15. It's super choppy. I'm willing to bet that it will work fine inside of the android os and it's a encoding issue that i don't know how to get around on the windows version of pp.

On a pc i've never used it.I use Vlc media player on my pc here and have no problems whatsoever.I do use PP on my phone (android) it works perfect. So your way around that is to use VLC. Give it a try.

Great tip. I just tried VLC and it worked flawlessly. Just to be sure... there isn't any tv guide function (epg?) inside of vlc right? I've just got my channel list, and that's it?
