  • Hello

Hi I’m an old newbie. My local reseller passed away so I’m working on getting my subscriptions renewed myself. I have a lot to learn. TIA for answering my stupid questions.

I’m having a problem getting connected with my new equipment. I’ve been emailing with Papiao staff and sent a picture of my new boxes w model numbers and MAC address. The problem is, they take 24 hours to email me back. I would like to get reconnected today if possible. They say then new boxes are linked to my account but I’m still getting the same “subscription expired or not activated” message. Where in this forum can get information on connecting new equipment? I just got the XRS4500 buzztv box. TIA

make sure your Mac address id correct. your Mac address starts with 00:1A:79 and might relabeled as ID under the box. try that and once Mac address is attached on provider site make sure to hit reset button then check for result.

Make sure that you also have your country selected as well at your MAC address

Thanks, there is nothing that starts with 00:1A:79 on the new box. I have that on my old equipment. Should that work
for the new box? If not, how do I go about getting a new MAC ID? there is a MAC number and an FCC ID number, but nothing else.

Thank you! I found on the server settings screen. I changed it myself. Now I’m good to go.
