The freezing you are seeing is not seen by everyone. When channels freeze or buffer, it is not always on the server end. Many things cause these problems.

Had the freezing problem for a month. .. I called up my provider to change my password.... no freezing for almost two months... called them up again and ask for a new password for a second time .. and at the same time brought a new router to alternately use with the other one I have.. I swap them alternately... Too laborious ? YES... but a continous watching is so much fun than wasting time furiously blaming .. ( who knows who to blame).. free riders are everywhere and the small cost of another router kills them all.

I have reported that for the last week or so, both P4 & P5 (I'm in the US) have kept freezing to the point UNWATCHABLE. The week before that it was just fine. I've just double checked my setup to prove that it was not my end.
My setup is: mag254 connected to a router_extender (AC1200) and my mag254 was working fine with this setup until last week. I then add my roku to this router_extender network. There is no freezing on CNN with roku device ... but a lot of freezing on my mag254. This proves that it is at the server end, not at user end. This behavior is true for both P4 & P5.
Please look into this and have it fix ASAP. Thank you.

FYI, For the last 24 hour, P4 & P5 freezing is still happening but the responds from server is getting faster (better) ... hence the situation is getting a little better but still very annoying while watching anything ... also FYI, the week prior to Regional-Selection (USA in my case), same setup at my end was running on P1 & P2 flawlessly, NO FREEZING! I hope this info. might help.
