Mbtc is not bitcoin so it will not work.If your having a hard time with bitcoin you can use the paypal method.Or if you are going to use a Bitcoin ATM then Amex explains it here......

I tried for 3 or 4 days with PayPal but it got complicated and couldn’t find a way to do it so I used a Bitcoin ATM and have my new donations within an hour I recommend it is really ease my 2 cents

I had a long, frustrating time with Coingate and I didn't want to get involved with Paypal so I tried the Bitcoin ATM and found it to be extremely simple. No need to worry about converting cash to bitcoin or which currency and you don't need a bitcoin wallet or buy anything. It is extremely simple after you do it once at a Bitcoin ATM. All you need to do is go to the Papiao website, place your order and it will ask you how you want to pay. You choose Bitcoin ATM, the Papiao Bitcoin QR code is shown, you take a photo of the code with your cellphone. Write down the order number and go to a Bitcoin ATM. The bitcoin ATM asks you how much you want to send, I chose 0-1000 dollars. It then wanted to scan the QR code of the address I wanted to send to so I let it scan the photo on my cellphone.
It then asked me to deposit the amount I wanted to send into the bill and coin slots. I inserted the exact amount in Canadian dollars and it then wanted me to verify by pressing Send on the touch screen. I pressed send, it printed out a receipt with the transaction ID number, time stamped and verified the amount sent. No need to worry about what bitcoins are worth, converting cash to bitcoin, the currency exchange nor the transaction fee. Just take the exact amount of the order that you placed along with the QR code photo, nothing more. You will receive an email confirming that the payment was received along with your order and donation information. Its dead simple as the Bitcoin ATM will not accept any cash before it gets the address to send it to and there is only one address to send it to since the QR code only has one address. Hope this helps as your post confirms its easy and private with no identification nor anything else required.

Well one thing you fail to mention is that Canada is a very large continent and unless you live in say Toronto, Vancouver, or a large urban area, you'll probably have to drive a hundred or more miles to even find a bit coin ATM. Same here in the US. Get in the rural areas and there are none.

The easiest way to find the nearest Bitcoin ATM from wherever you live is to Google Bitcoin Atm locations. I renew my donations once a year so I try and co-ordinate where I go with what I do or need to do. Driving a hundred miles once a year isn't so bad if you have other reasons although you can always buy from a reseller and let them do the legwork.
