  • Help! Now trying ATM and lost order on phone with QR code

Gave up on Coingate. Found ATM but decided to fill out Renew at home. Filled out everything and was issued QR code. All was complete but lost picture on phone of code. Shouldn't it be somewhere? Tried Order Status but nothing. No email. If I go through the process again, it will think it's two more orders and charge accordingly..HELP!!!

The photo of the QR code should be in the Photo section of your cellphone. It should be where your photos are kept or stored. Once you locate the photo of the QR code that is stored on your cellphone, it can be used over and over again but I would strongly suggest you edit the photo with a name like Papiao QR code so you will know what photo of the QR code is and won't be mistaken for any other QR code which you may store at a later date or have already stored. Name your QR codes so you won't mistake one from another.

I'm not quite following you. Me and the wife went to papiao site, put in donation data and the site generated a code. However we lost the code because the display changed to just the account number without the code. Why would there be a picture somewhere if we didn't make a screenshot. We tried to put in the account number on the papiao donation look up site but it was useless. thanks in advance.

Go to the Papiao website, you place your order, then you choose Bitcoin ATM as the way to pay. It will show a QR code. Take a picture of the QR code with your cellphone. Your cellphone will store the picture in with your photos. There would be a picture of the QR code if you used your cellphone to take a picture of the QR code. If you don't take a picture, you won't have a picture of the QR code saved on your cellphone. Try using a different computer if you can't get the QR code to come up on your screen. You could ask Papiao to send you a reply with the QR code as an attachment if you are stuck with no way to get the QR code although this really would be rather strange if Papiao is not providing a QR code on their website ?

When the Papiao website showed the QR code, you take a picture of it with your cellphone. Your cellphone stores the picture of the QR code in the photo section. When you to to the Bitcoin ATM you show the photo and let the ATM scan the photo of the QR code. If the Bitcoin ATM does not have an address to send, it will not accept any monies as it has to have an address BEFORE it will accept any bills or coins. You have to have a photo of the QR code on your cellphone for the Bitcoin ATM to scan.

Ok..was wife's phone and she didn't know how to take a screen shot, so we were looking that up on the fly. I don't even have a cell phone...or bill, so I didn't know. I'll figure it out on her phone. In the meantime it should be fine just to go through this whole rigmarole on the computer (which I know), print it out (QR code) and take it with me to scan. That should work and then I have a hard copy right? Thanks!
