geen teliphone line for modem

I got another modem but the green telephone line that came with it is to short..so my ? Is the green telephone line the same as any other telephone line... I think its the same but I like my $ and I don't want to hurt my new modem just because I thought it was the same...thank u for ur input and happy thanks giving

What is the difference between a phone cable and an Ethernet cable?

The first part of your question, are phone ethernet cables are different from computer ethernet cables, yes absolutely they both are different. ... they doesn't fit into the same wall ethernet hole because ethernet Cable that is used for telephone uses RJ11 connector whereas computer ethernet cables uses RJ45 connector.

ur talking about Ethernet cable,,yes it is different from telephone line.Im talking about the green telephone line that comes with the modem,,,,.Im asking is the green telephone line that come with the modem the same as the line that goes to a telephone....because some of the telephone line says rj11...thanks for ur input

The one that came with the Modem may be of higher quality, but it is the same configuration as any phone line.
The shorter the better though.
