Hi guys is there anyway to prove that my ISP is manipulating my speedtest?
Reason I ask is on speedtest.net I get a download of 15 mbps the speed I supposed to get, but on speedof.me I don't even get 1 MB
I'm certain the last one is the correct one because my speed is ridiculously slow, but obviously my ISP says the first one (15 mb) is correct.

The speedtest may vary based on the server location an latency, for example speedtest.net have peers on most of the ISPs around the world and they assign you a server near to your location so maybe the server that you are trying on speedtest.net is hosted by your ISP and for such reason you get the real speed in your ISP network but it drops when you test with servers out of that network.

If you want to know your real speed select a different server on speedtest.net and if you objetive is to know how good is your internet to enjoy our IPTV service then select a server located in europe.

Thanks for the answer, I checked both tests are using a Miami based server
When changing to a European based server it doesn't make difference on speedtest.net, still I'm sure I ain't getting the 15 mb as my isp claims giving me how can I prove that?

Then just try doing a direct download of a big file and you will see the real download speed. Remember when downloading files you will see it in MB/s and 1 Mbps = 0.125 MB/s, so 15Mbps should give you 1.875MB/s of download.
